Today, I have the permission of this young lady to share her amazing story.
This story is interesting, from the onset many said it will be difficult, many cheered but did not offer concrete help while others silently disagree while watching her story unfold.
I share this because this might be you looking for a way to live your dream but finding the right support to realize it.
Welcome to her story: be the silent observer first then help me celebrate her courage.
I hosted a young lady👩 from France. 🇫🇷
She wanted to see if she could work in Germany🇩🇪 and for that, she had 2-day trial at a potential future employer. 💱
She, however, doesn't speak German or English 🙅
This would be her first job ever.
She came with fear in her stomach, but also with excitement for this new experience.
Is she naïve and a dreamer? 😶🌫️
Will she ever find a job when her language skills are sorely lacking?🗯️🤦
Or is she a badass and a tough lady not getting discouraged by details?🦸♀️
I made a LinkedIn poll post to feel what my network would say. Look at the results below

I associate myself with dream enablers who support career change and seek a better life... and I see that my network follows my vision.

But for the most part, the young lady was not confident, she felt alone and afraid.
This prompted her to seek my help.
Fast forward, this is what happened.

64% of responders said this woman, who sought employment in Germany without knowing German or English, is definitely BADASS.💪
Well, after her first trial, she hadn’t found a job, however, she had to make another 2 -Day Trial, her adventure wasn´t finished yet. So I was sharing this with my LinkedIn network✨
"She is doing a new trial this week for two days at a new spot in another branch where French is more commonly used.💨
If she is a fit, which I strongly believe she is, she will need to learn German intensively in the next few months. 💫📍
For me, she is definitely a badass. This is going to be her first job if ever and her first time living outside of France. ✔📌
She confided her hesitation about change and her anxiety over trying new experiences and things in general. But when you see her, you will see a very stable and confident woman. 🎯😊
My take away from that: Do not make assumptions about what you see externally without giving it enough consideration or deeper probing. 🤔

My second take away, 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙛 𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 🙌🗝"
You are your Life CEO; you make your own plans. So many people wouldn´t have even searched for a job abroad knowing that they don't speak the 2 most required languages. Well, she had another mindset, and she believed enough in her idea that she was able to find a solution. 🏆🧩
The story continues …
Guess what ?
She called me today, she got the job. And she is going to be paid twice as in France.
Imagine? If she didn’t dare to dream and take action would she land a job that pays twice as much?
